现阶段 ,在我国高等教育现代化的进程中 ,明显地存在着“为人”与“为学”相分裂的缺陷 ,这与我们民族在整个现代化发展历程中的思想认识的误区密切相关 ;高等教育现代化的真义在于造就全面自由发展。

Nowadays, in the process of modernization of Chinese higher education, there exist some obvious defects of division between 'how to be a man' an 'how to learn', it is closely related with our nation's ideological misunderstandings in the process modernization. The theme of higher education lies in bringing up the modern man which develop in an all round way freely and have abundant spirit life.
