Main Currents of Marxism by the Polish Marxist Kolakowski(1927-2009)is an extraordinary work in the field of Marxism studies in the20 th century.This article introduces the life of Kolakowski and the main contents of each volumes of the book.Meanwhile,this article summarizes his main views on the basic principles of Marxism,the motifs of Marxism,the standards for a Marxist and his evaluation of Leninism in order to illuminate his achievements in his Marxism studies while offering a critique of his work.
