近年来,学界掀起了'后—海德格尔'思想热潮。海德格尔后学中的代表人物,比如伽达默尔、列维纳斯等,日益受到学界热捧,关于'后—海德格尔'思想的研究逐渐兴盛。然而,托马斯·希恩教授对此保持警惕。他认为,海德格尔学界目前正处于严峻的危机之中:对外面临来自洛克莫尔、沃林、弗里切与费耶的猛烈抨击,他们对海德格尔的哲学提出质疑;对内则陷入这样一种窘境——关于海德格尔究竟在表达什么,如何表达,又有多少思想一以贯之,学界尚不确定。因此,现在就提'后—海德格尔'为时尚早。针对海德格尔的思想内核,希恩教授列出了有待深究的十二论题。通过阐明这些要题,'后—海德格尔'思想研究或许能从中获益。

In recent years, a new upsurge of “Post-Heidegger” has been set off in Heideggerian scholarship. The representatives among the Post- Heideggerian philosophers, such as Hans-Georg Gadamer, Emmanuel Levinas, etc., have been increasingly touted,on which some related research is now booming. Nevertheless, Prof. Sheehan remains vigilant on it and claims that Heidegger scholarship today is in acute crisis. Ab extra it is under fierce attack from the philosophically challenged clique of Rockmore-Wolin-Fritscheand- Faye. Ab intra it is caught in an embarrassing uncertainty about what Heidegger meant, how to express it, and how much of it to hold on to. As a result, it may be too early to talk of a “Post-Heidegger”. According to the more salient elements of Heidegger’s work, Prof. Sheehan enumerates twelve theses, for which one must continue to give an account. Prof. Sheehan proposes those theses might contribute to a “Post-Heidegger”.
