When the sales volume of hydraulic excavators in China is rapidly rising, the compact excavator market comes into our field of vision. The increasing rate of the machine is three times as much as medium-sized excavators, from 147 unites excavators in 1999 to 1542 unites in 2002 only for three years. In the bauma China 2002, some manufacturers released their compact excavators and the equipment is formally put in the China market in 2003.
