《大乐赋》是中唐白行简创作的一篇淋漓尽致地描写不同身份、不同年龄以及不同场合下男女性事的赋体作品,在现存先宋文学中是绝无仅有的。唐代社会的性事开放,道教房中术的盛行,文人与歌妓、女道士的频繁交往,是此类作品产生的文化背景。《大乐赋》的性描写是应当扬弃的,但作品也有难得的认识价值、社会史料价值和语言学价值。

Ode to the Intercourse Between Yin and Yang, a piece of literary work written in the form of fu by Bai Xing - jian, a writer of the Tang Dynasty, contains extremely vivid descriptions of sexual intercourses be-tween men and women of different social statuses, and different ages, and under different conditions, which is u-nique among the existing Chinese literary works before the Song Dynasty. Although the sexual descriptions are undesirable, yet the work has remarkable cognitive value, linguistic value and value of historical materials.
