从《世说新语》看汉魏六朝时期少年儿童的基本素质

The Examination of the Essential Qualities of the Children in the Han, the Wei and the Six Dynasties from the Book Shishuo-Xinyu

《世说新语》中有一部分对于当时少年儿童的言谈、仪态、思想、行为的记载,尽管这些记载比较零散,也不够丰富,但我们仍旧可以从道德素质、思维素质、角色素质、知识素质、审美素质和仪表素质几方面比较全面地看到那个时代对新生一代的素质要求,它真实地反映了汉魏六朝时期少年儿童的基本素质构成。《世说新语》对于少年儿童的记叙、品评,让我们在了解汉魏六朝时期少年儿童基本素质的同时,也为当今的素质教育提供了一些值得借鉴的内容。

The book, Shishuo-Xinyu, records some details related to children's talking, behaviors, thinking and acting at that time. Though the records are not complete and rich, we can find out ceratin standards that the society required of the children in that period in terms of morality, thinking, quality, knowledge, aesthetic value and appearance. It presents a picture of what the essential qualities were about the children in the Han, the Wei and the Six Dynasties. The description of the children and the comments on their behavior in the book Shishuo-Xinyu enhance our knowledge of the children at that time and provides us a lot of references of how to improve the quality education for the children in the contemporary society.
