摘要 半个世纪前 ,人民教育家陶行知先生掷地有声地提出了“处处是创造之地 ,天天是创造之时 ,人人是创造之人”的“创造教育”思想 ,成为我国近现代“创造教育”的倡导者、开辟者、先行者。他的思想主要以“行是知之始 ,知是行之成”为理论依据 ;以培育具有集体精神的“真善美的活人”为目标 ;以生活为教育内容 ,强调“教学做合一” ,主张解放、培养并发展儿童的创造力。这是一种既具有中国特色 ,又反映现代教育理论发展趋势的新的教育理论 ,是我国教育史上乃至世界教育思想领域的一笔珍贵遗产。今天在全面推进素质教育的实践中 ,认真挖掘、整理、借鉴陶行知的“创造教育” Half a century ago, a famous educationist, Sir Tao Xingzhi, clearly and definitely pointed out the thought of creative education that “every place is a creative place, every day is a creative day and everyone is a creative one'. He put it into practice and became the advocator, founder and forerunner of creative education in the modern China. His thought, basing on the theory that “knowledge begins with practice and results from practice', aims at training a true, good and beautiful person in real life with collective spirits. Taking life as teaching substance, he stresses on putting teaching, study and practice in one and vigorously advocates to liberate, train and develop the creative ability of children. His thought is with distinctive Chinese features and is at the same time a new educational theory that reflects the developing tendency of modern education theory. His thought on education is a valuable legacy in Chinese education history and the world educational thought field as well. Today, it is still very important and is of practical guiding significance to tap, sort out and make use of the thought of “creative education” in the practice of carrying forward quality education.
