摘要 介绍了 MPEG- 4的系统框架 ,在此基础上给出了一个在网络上传输视频的流式解决方案 .该方案在视频子系统利用 MPEG- 4先进的视频技术使其具有压缩率高、容错性能好、扩展能力强、适应范围广等优点 .在网络子系统 ,采用 MPEG- 4提供的 DMIF框架 ,可以适应多种传送层技术 ,因此具有很强的灵活性 .实验结果表明 ,所提出的系统可应用于诸如网络视频点播等流媒体应用场合 . This paper presented a scheme on the video streaming over network. Some superiority of MPEG-4 technology was pointed out, which can satisfy the requirements of the streaming, and a general framework of MPEG-4 was shown, based on which the scheme is introduced. The whole scheme is divided into two subsystems, namely, the video subsystem and the network subsystem. The experimental results show the presented scheme can be applied to such a field of streaming as video on demand (VOD) over network.
