The environmental security is a fundamental problem, which is related to the existence and sustainable development of all living beings on the earth the national stability and development,the world peace and stability. The environmental security is the focus of study at present in the environmental science and social sciences. The concept,origin and development, character of environmental security and the importance of putting into effect of environmental security are summarized in this paper.
