In this paper,in view of the overturn ing of the awl slope shirt walls in hig hway(Yangjiang' s section)along the coast of the west Guangdong,based on generalize d Coulomb ' s theory.I combining the design,con struction,and the site geological c onditions,etc.with practice,find out the reason of the accidents ,and put forward the su ggestion in dealing with this phenom enon.
