The technology of machinery deep-hole strength expansion was the important and difficult process of the double-tubesheet exchanger manufacturing. According to years of experience of our company manufacturing double-tubesheet exchanger, take the tail-gas exchanger as an example, the article described the schedule of working on the process in detail. The exchanger had the following features: the distance between the two tubesheet was far,the quantity of tube was large,the tube material were identical with the tubesheet. So the strength and rigidity of strength expansion tools should be considered sufficiently, and the expansion end of tube should be tempered.
