摘要
从英汉两种语言词汇的对应性出发,借助于卡明斯的门槛假说理论对英词汉记的负面效应进行分析。指出摆脱母语的影响是英语学习高效率的关键,而且要从基础词汇的原始积累开始。否则不仅伤及其目标语语言能力,其母语甚至思维也难免会受到负面影响。
In this article, the negative effect of memorizing English vocabulary in Chinese, the usual method used by English language learners in China, is discussed to present the author' s idea that the key to high efficiency in language acquiring is to learn and think in the language itself. The Threshold Hypothesis Theory by Cummings (1979 1984 1987) adds more force to the argument.
