英语教学应重视口试

English Teaching Should Highlight Oral Examination

英语教学在有了一个可遵循的大纲后,出现了许多优秀教材,有了测试机构和手段,学生很重视四、六级考试,读、写、译能力有明显提高,但听、说能力差一些,为此,在英语教学中应增加口试,促进学生听、说、读、写、译五方面能力协调发展。

There are many excellent teaching materials, examination agencies and means after a unified syllabus appeared. Students pay more attention to the Band 4 and Band 6 tests, their abilities of reading, writing and translating have been improved greatly, but listening and speaking abilities are poorer. In order to improve the development of students' abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating harmoniously, we must have oral examination in English teaching.
