HOW SHALL WE EXPLOIT AND UTILIZE INFORMATION FROM THE PUBLIC SECURITY NEWSPAPER IN THE LIBRARY OF THE PUBLIC SECURITY INSTITUTES

公安报刊是一种极为丰富而未被充分开发利用的信息源。公安报刊记载有关于公安路线方针政策、公安业务、公安学术、公安科技、国外警察等情报信息内容 ,这些情报信息具有及时性、内容广泛性 ,可靠性和保密性的特点。充分开发利用报刊情报信息的方法和措施是建立健全情报信息源体系、提高情报资料利用率以及运用现代化技术手段 。

Public security newspaper is full of rich information resources that are not fully being exploited. It records the information including public security’s general and specific policies, public security work, public security science and technology and overseas police affairs etc., with features of publishing timely, broadly-covering contents, reliability and secrecy. The methods and measures of making full use of newspaper information are to set up and perfect information resource system, increase the use rate of the information material ,and with the help of modernized technology, expand a new field of information service.
