郁达夫、陈染是本世纪初期和本世纪末期在“私小说”创作领域颇有成就的两位代表作家。他们以自己的亲身经历或亲身感受抒写着人类共同的情感体验 :孤独、苦闷、对爱情的追求和对死亡的思考。

Both You Dafu and Chen Ran are two outstanding authors in the field of writing novel concerning privacy in the early and late period of this century. With their own experience and their own feelings, they expressed human being’s common emotional experience such as loneliness and depression, and voiced their thinking the pursuit of love and the death. This thesis, in several aspects, makes a comparison in writing between the two authors, their similarities and differences.
