He suggests that the focal points of Japans Asian diplomacy with the goal of establishing free trade area are as follows:increasing all_round economic cooperation with ASEAN,striving for Japans leading role in East Asian financial cooperation,enhancing impact on security cooperation and seeking normalization of Japan_DPRK relations.By exercising these diplomatic measures,Japan had the intention to aim against China and support the U.S.Strategy.In the future,Japan will enhance its economic diplomatic drive,intensify its competition with China and make efforts to conduct engagement and dialogue with DPRK.
