SEX DIFFERENCES IN PULSE AMPLITUD AND PULSATIL OCULAR BLOOD FLOW BETWEEN HEALTHY EYES AND WITH POAG

We determine the pulse amplitud and pulsatil ocular blood flow in 111 healthy eyes and in 201 glaucoma eyes, using the Lang-ham Ocular Blood Flow System. We compared the values between gender, observig that women showed higher POBF a PA than men in healthy eyes and in POAG. Healthy eyes: Male 27.9%; Female 72.1%. POAG eyes: Male 28.9%; Female 71.1%.
