Purpose: Open angle glaucoma (OAG) is known to demonstrate an hereditary pattern. The pattern, severity and progression of OAG in first degree relatives were evaluated and compared. Methods: Six pairs of first degree relatives (five parent/child, one pair identical twins) with OAG were reviewed. The pattern of glaucoma within each pair of family members was compared,
