9·11"事件后美国对华政策探析

ANALYSIS OF U.S. POLICY TOWARDS CHINA AFTER 9·11 INCIDENT

"9·11"事件后,美国出于建立反恐联盟的需要,积极改善小布什上台后十分紧张的中美关系。但随着美国在阿富汗战争的结束,美国又把遏制中国作为对华政策的首要目标。美国利用反恐战争形成对中国的地缘包围、美台军事关系的逐步升级,使中美关系的发展增添了许多不确定因素。今后,防范与合作将是中美外交中的重要内容。

After the 9·11 incident, he United states, out of the need to establish an alliance against terrorism, made an effort to improve USSino relations which had been very strained since Bush came into office. However, with the war in Afghanistan coming to an end , the United States has once again taken their policy of controlling China as its primary object. It tries to make use of the war against terrorism to form a geographical encirclement against China and escalates its relations with Taiwan; which adds to the SinoUS relations many unstable elements. From now on to be on guard against each other and to cooperate with each other will dominate SinoUS relations. 
