The process and features of urea based NPK production is introduced, and for problems occurred during the operation of urea based NPK plant where semi slurry granulation method is used with molten urea as the feedstock, analysis is done in combination of physical and chemical properties of molten urea and urea based NPK. The corresponding solutions for such problems are proposed, and the importance of strict operating management for long time and full load operation of the plant is emphasized.
