Assessment of Gold-bearing Property of Quartz Vein in Daping Gold Diggings

大坪金矿区的石英脉有含金的和不含金的两大类.由于形成作用的差异,两类石英脉具有各自的特征,其主要判别标志是载金矿物的标型特征(颜色、光泽、晶形、晶习、硬度、晶胞参数、红外吸收性、热发光性、包裹体特征、微量元素的类型和含量)、矿物共(伴)生组合、结构构造、围岩蚀变及脉岩特征.

There are two types of quartz vein in Daping gold diggings,gold-quartz vein and non -gold quartz vein.They have their respective characteristics because of the differences of forming process.Main distinguishing marks are typomorphic characteristics of gold-carrying minerals(including colour,luster,crystal shape,crystal habit,hardness,cell parameter,infrared absorption spectrum,thermoluminescence,characteristics of inclusion,the kind and content of minor elements),(accompanying)mineral assemblage,texture and structure,wall-rock alteration, and the characteristics of vein rocks.
