《塞莱斯蒂娜》是15世纪末西班牙文艺复兴萌发时期出现的一部惊世骇俗之作。该作品在创作上有三大突破:作者在传统训诫禁欲的幌子下传达了一种资产阶级个性解放的人文主义新思想;在已有的戏剧名目下开创了近代现实主义小说艺术的先河;首次将一位社会下层人物作为主角请进文学殿堂。《塞莱斯蒂娜》是一部同时具有颠覆及构建双重意义的文学奇作。

Is a wonderful and shocking work in the rudimentary stage of Spanish renaissance in the late 15th century. It makes three breakthroughs: 1) the author expressed the humanities of bourgoisie individuality liberation in the disguise of traditional admonishment and asceticism; 2) he was the forerunner of contemporary realistic novel; 3) it was the first time for a character with low social status to became a hero in the literary works. It is filled with the ideas of the subversion and construction of the society.
