面向工作站机群的核外计算模型及实现

The Model and Implementation of Out-of-Core Computing on Cluster of Workstations

提出了面向工作站机群的核外计算模型。基于该模型并采用面向对象的语言机制 ,在工作站机群系统上实现了对核外数组的有效处理 ,使得工作站机群系统能够处理海量数据应用问题。通过对局部数组文件分布的优化、采用自适应的数据筛选和数据预取策略 。

An out of core computation model on COWs is presented, based on which out of core arrays are supported on COWs by using an object oriented method. Using this method, COWs system is able to deal with the applications that need to access large amounts of data. Furthermore, the optimal strategies, such as LAF distribution, data sieving and prefetching, make an improvement in the performance of out of core computation.
