具有楚人个性气质的沈从文,在其湘西小说中对楚文化精神表现出特有的文化体认。这便是:崇尚自然、活泼灵动;热爱生命、尊崇人性;感世伤生、沉郁忧患;神秘奇幻、浪漫诡谲。
SHEN Cong wen, a famous writer with the personality and characteristics of Chu People, shows a special understanding of the spirit of Chu Culture in his 'Xiangxi' novels, namely, advocating nature and making it lively and flexible, loving life and worshipping human nature; grieving for peoples fate and feeling depressed and worried; mysterious and marvelous, romantic and treacherous.
