The Study About the Developmental Stratagem by the Industry Structure in the Three Gorges Economic Area

三峡经济区具有明显的经济二元结构,地区内部产业结构雷同,生产力布局不平衡,产业结构演变中存在着"逆序现象"。入世之后,面对工业化和现代化的双重任务,三峡地区必须克服行政区划分割、基础设施落后、市场经济体制不完善等缺陷。未来的发展战略应以制造业为中心,以消费品工业为重点,实现三峡地区"哑铃型"的生产力布局和区域分工,成为中国制造业的西部中心。

There is an obvious duality economic structure in the Three Gorges Economic Area where there are some comparability: the industry structure is alike; the fertility layout is unbalanced; the evolvement is unusual. The Area is up against the missions of both industrialization and modernization after China joined the WTO. There are many challenges against the Area: the canton is intersected, the basic establishment lags behind, and the market system is faulty. In the future, the Area should make the manufacturing become the center, consumable industry the emphasis, and carry out the logical fertility layout. The Three Gorges Economic Area will become the west manufacturing center in China.
