An volatile oil was extracted from daucus carota L.by using steam distillation, and separated with different kinds of GC capillary under optimized conditions. 33 compounds were separated, and 26 of which were identified by GC-MS and quantitatively determined by normalization method.The identified components are more than 78% of all the volatil oil.
