Dynamic synchronous Transfer Mode (DTM) which based on ATM protocol,can support TCP/IP over Internet friendly. Development,principle of work and superiority of DTM are expounded. The comparison between DTM and other technologies is described too.Finally,the application and prospects of DTM are probed.
