For a subscriber line circuit shared by electric power communication switching network and PSTN, the conflict between two numbering systems cannot be ignored. This paper expounds the origin and the impact of dual numbering in telephone switching network, and by taking an example, shows that calling number conversion is an effective way to solve this problem at present.
