网络环境下馆藏外刊资源的拥有与存取

To Possessing and Depositing & Taking of the Storage of Periodic al in Foreign Languages in Network

长期以来 ,我国图书情报界在外刊资源的收藏与利用方面 ,一直被价格上涨、资金短缺、外刊品种明显不足又大量重复、利用率偏低等一系列问题所困扰 ,图书馆越来越难以只是通过“拥有”馆藏文献来满足读者的需求。文章指出在网络环境下 ,图书馆必须根据本馆的性质、类别、读者需求特点、文献类型等因素来决定外刊馆藏的“拥有”还是“存取” ,走联合保障。

Price rising,lacking of money,less variety and much repetition insufficient usage etc have been a big problem in the collection and usage of our periodicals in foreign languages in our information field for a long time. This make it more and more difficult to meet the demand of the reader by the possessing of a library only This article points out that a library must decide that the storage of its periodicals in foreign languages should be possessed and depositing & taking according to the facts of property of the library,sort,and the demand of the readers and so on. So we must take the methods of unites ensuring and resources sharing
