In order to detect the intrusion in the networks effectively, the communication mechanism of the distributed intrusion detection system is analyzed deeply. The communication content and format between the control center and the agents and between the agent and the agent is brought forward .At the same time the communication security of the distributed intrusion detection system is discussed and designed.Then it is easy for every parts of the IDS to communicate with each other so that the intrusion can be detected faster.
