The Influence of the Clansman's Phenomenon on the Democratic Political Construction in the Rural Areas

宗族势力在当代中国农村仍然有其长期存在的客观基础,具有妨碍农村民主选举、妨碍国家政策贯彻、妨碍先进文化传播、妨碍农村稳定等消极影响。要推进农村民主政治建设进程,必须消除宗族势力存在的地理因素,落实农村民主政治制度,树立社会主义民主观、法治观和平等观,发挥农村基层党组织的战斗堡垒作用,加强国家控制力的支撑,用以先进文化武装的群众力量有组织地抑制宗族势力。

The clansman's phenomenon exists long in the rural areas with the obj ec tive foundation. It hinders the rural democratic election, the implementation of nation policies, the spread of advanced culture the rural stability and etc. To promote the process of rural democratic political construction, the geographica l factor of clansman's phenomenon has to be removed. The democratic political sy stem in the rural areas has to be implemented. The views of socialist democracy, legal system and equality have to be set up. The masses armed with advanced cul ture can organizationally suppress the power of the clansman.
