West Europe has been active in investing in industry, resulting in considerable improvement in its competitiveness in interna-tional market and decreased price in certain types of paper, newsprint included, which in turn stimulates consumption and leads tosustainable development. This paper elaborated the creativity practice of the Rhein paper mill, Germany, in producing 280,000 tons ofnewsprint.
