The present article briefly described the production trial on the rare earth metal injection using a center, casting pipe in the CR-50 type movable injection apparatus in Anshan Iron & Steel Complex, By way of injection the yield of rare earth metal has attained to more than 65% with consumption of rare earth greatly reduced and rate of finished slabs and products increased, As a result significant economical benefits have been achieved.
