On the Efficiency and Equality of the Well-off society

效率与公平是经济运行中的一对永恒矛盾,如何处理好效率与公平的关系。关系到一国经济能否持续稳定 地向前发展。为了全面建设小康社会。必须坚持效率优先,同时兼顾公平。在初次分配中应通过贯彻按要素分配和 按劳分配相结合的原则来确保效率优先,在再分配中应由政府宏观调控兼顾公平。

Efficiency and equality has been a pair of contradictions forever in economic operations. The way their relations are handled concerns whether or not one economy can move on smoothly. To develop a wholly well-off society, efficiency must be prioritized, and equality must be considered at the same time. In the first distribution, efficiency can be assured by applying the principles of the distribution according to factors and distribution according to contribution. In the second distribution, equality can be assured by government macro regulations.
