On Qian Liu, Powerful Vassal in Southeast China of Wu-Yue Period

文章从钱镠布衣崛起,称霸吴越;安民和众,事中朝;射潮治水,兴农商;崇儒信佛,重文化等方面,对钱氏的历史功绩进行了客观公正的评述。

This article states the personal story and gives objective comments on historical achievements of Qian Liu, who started from a humble man while became powerful vassal in Wu-Yue state. He pacified and united the local people , regulated the rivers , prospered agriculture and business , respected Confucianism and believed in Buddhism , thought highly of culture.
