摘要
GIS所涉及的主要是空间数据 ,所以对于GIS数据库的大量研究都跟空间数据结构和管理模式相关。该文分析了GIS空间数据的特点及其对数据库管理系统的要求 ,探讨了几种GIS空间数据的管理模式。
GIS is primarily associated with spatial data,and therefore a large amount of the research effort in databases for GIS is related to spatial data structures and management methods.In this paper, the features of GIS spatial data and its requirement of Database Management Systmem (DBMS) are analyzed, and the management methods of spatial data are introduced.
