机器数概念的提出是计算机进行数值运算的前提和基础.本文对机器数的概念、为什么要引入机器数、机器数的算术运算、机器数运算中的溢出等问题进行了较为系统、深入的分析研究,同时亦指正了对机器数相关问题上所存在的认识上的偏误。

The conception of machine digit is the premise and basis for the numerical value operation in a cumputer. In this article such problem are studied systematically and completely as the conception of machine digit, reasons for introducing machine digit, arithmetic opration of machine digit and problem of overflow in the operation, etc.Meanwhile,people's mistakes in judging the preblem related to machine digit are mentioned and corrected.
