The thermal characteristic apparatus type RTB-1 is improved by using it in development metallurgical auxiliary material such as mould casting powder, clad material and so on. And new method for testing the property of mould powder, clad material is offered. As a result the requirements of the research on metallurgical auxiliary material and the regular test are met.
