清末留日医学生及其对中国近代医学事业的贡献

Chinese Students Studying in the Medical Colleges of Japan in the Late Qing Dynasty and Their Contribution to Modern Medicine of China

介绍了清末留日医学生的总体情况 ,对其在日本就读的学校分布进行了统计分析 ;收集了 1 63名晚清留日医学生的资料 ,对其籍贯、在日就读学校、专业及事迹作了简要介绍。通过考查清末留日医学生归国后的医学活动 ,阐述了这批留学生对于民国时期的医学普及、医学教育、医药卫生行政、医药科学研究等方面的贡献 ,认为清末的留日医学生为改变中国医学的面貌发挥了重要作用。

At the beginning of the 20th century,many students went to Japan from China and studied in the medical colleges of Japan.After graduation,they came back to China,working in all kinds of medical fields.This paper introduces the general situation of them in the late Qing Dynasty,gives a brief account of the lives and activities of 163 students,and comes to the conclusion that they had made great contribution to medical popularization,management,education and research in China,and that their works had greatly changed the status of medicine in China.
