摘要
在分析汽车牌照底色与字符颜色关系的基础上提出了一种利用色彩饱和度信息和牌照字符特征的汽车牌照定位分割方法。该方法不同于以往的基于色彩的分析方法,避免了在由RGB向HSV转换过程中大量的浮点运算,提高了运算效率,并且能够有效地克服光线和天气条件的影响,具有很好的抗噪性能,定位精度高。
Based on analyzing the relationship between license plate background and character color,presents an effective license plate location algorithm which uses color saturation and vehicle character feature.It is shown that ,compared with other methods based on analyzing color,it is faster because the algorithm can avoid vast float calculation in the process of converting from RGB to HIS.Meanwhile,as it can avoid the influence of light and weather condition efficiently,the algorithm has high correct rate and become more robust.
