On the Political Development of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics

党的十六大报告明确提出“中国特色社会主义政治建设”的新命题,阐明要走“自己选择的政治发展道路”。在中国特色社会主义政治建设的进程中,具有三个基本特征,要达到十个主要目标,并且要着力解决九个方面的改革问题。

The report of the 16th Congress of CPC clearly proposed the new proposition on 'political development of socialism with Chinese characteristics'. It clarified the position to take 'politi-cal development path that oneself has chosen'. In the process of political development of socialism with Chinese characteristics, it meeds to possess three essential characters, achieve ten central goals,and needs to put forth efforts to solve the reform problems in nine aspects.
