New theory of war brings new opportunity and challenge to theory of medical evacuation. Potential battle effectiveness hides in advanced theory and research method of medical evacuation. The author discussed the base and principle in using academic research methods in study of medical evacuation. By studying methods of survey, simulation experiment, theory of programming, theory of queue, method of planning, information theory, systemic analysis, forecast and decision-making, and their applications. The author believes that it has significance in improving system of medical evacuation, strengthening ability of medical support by choosing and optimizing methods of academic research of medical services.
