摘要
贵州土家族的族源,学者们多认为是巴人,也有人认为是楚人、板楯蛮、宝人或乌蛮,但这几种说法都有与文献相矛盾的地方。尽管巴人、楚人对土家文化有着较大的影响,但根据对一些古代文献和考古资料的分析,根据对土家族文化所呈现出来的特点分析,笔者认为贵州土家族的族源应该是当地土著,即汉朝时的武陵蛮。
On the source of Tujia nationality, there remain different opinions among scholars. The major one is that they came from Baren, the others, from Churen, or Bandunman, or Congren, or Wuman, but all of these opinions are in contradiction with historical documents. Truly, Baren and Churen had greater influence on Tujia culture, but the author, considering analyses of historical documents and of archaeological findings and also the characters in Tujia culture, holds that the source of Tujia in Guizhou province should be from the natives, i. e. Wulingman in Han Dynasty (about two thousand years ago).
