This paper discusses the discovery, arrangement and the value of Hei An Zhuan, the transcript passed down by Liu Dingxiang, folk artist in Yichang county, Hubei province. This version has its distinct characteristics in literature, knowledge and historical culture among the groups of Hei An Zhuan in the west of Hubei province.
