On Chinese Translation of Insurance English

随着经济和社会的发展,保险业日显重要,无论是英译汉还是汉译英都需引起重视。本文从保险的基本知识出发,对选择词义、惯用术语和合同文书用语的汉译进行了初步探讨。

With the development of economy and society, insurance plays a more and more important role, therefore, how to deal with the translation effectively in CE and EC should deserve great attentions. From a basic introduction of insurance approach, this paper discusses the principle and methods in translating words, jargons and contracts, including stipulations.
