Studies on the Development of the Three Economic Areas in Shaanxi

陕西的三大经济区域,即关中经济区、陕北经济区和陕南经济区,由于自然条件、开发程度等不同,有着明显的经济资源、结构和经济发展的特点。总结建国以来陕西在三大经济区域布局上存在的问题与经验,遵循区域经济发展的一般规律,实施陕西经济布局的战略性调整,促进三大经济区域的协调发展,构建陕西经济新的增长点是实现陕西社会经济跨越式发展的根本途径。

The three economic areas in Shaanxi refer to Shaanxi central plain, north of Shaanxi and south of Shaanxi. Due to the differences in natural environment and development, there exist distinct characters in their economic resources, structure and development respectively. To achieve social economic development in the striding-forward way in Shaanxi, it is fundamental to review the problems and the experience we had on the distribution of the three economic areas after the liberation of China. Of course, we should follow the general rule on regional economic development and make strategic adjustment on the distribution of the cities in the three areas. In this way, we can promote their balanced development and construct the new start of economic increase.
