摘要
自由空间光通信(FSO)技术作为一种无线宽带技术已经成为光纤接入的良好替代方案之一。FSO在安装调试快捷性和成本核算方面要比光纤通信具有很大的优势。本文通过激光通信链路预算和能见度数据分析,给出了FSO系统的链路可信度及通信距离与气象因素之间的函数关系。这对FSO用户在安装配置通信系统时具有重要的指导意义。
Free Space Optics(FSO) has become a viable high-bandwidth wireless alternative to fiber optic cabling. The primary advantages of FSO over fiber are its shorter deployment time and significant cost savings. By the analysis of link budgets and visibility-limiting weather conditions, the link availability and link distances as a function of distance can be predicted for any FSO system. This is very useful for FSO users when they are considering deployment of FSO system.
