After 20years' development,self -t eaching in China has achieved great s uccess,which rapidly leads the theo ry of lifelong education to practice.It has become an education form that give s fullest expressions to the concept ion and the features of lifelong education.It will play an irreplaceable part in higher education,espec ially in the building of lifelong edu cation system.
