党的十六大报告提出了全面建设小康社会的新目标。小康社会不是一个指标而是多个指标 ,体现了民本、民富与民主 ,是“民本、民富与民主”的三位一体。

The new goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way is put forward in the report at the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The well-off society is not a single objective but a triunity of 'peoplewardism, people's richness and democracy'.
