“The Major War”and“Feminine”Perspective——Extraction from DAZAI Osamu’s Short Stories on the Beginning Period of Asia-Pacific War

摘要 The Asia-Pacific 15-year war which started with a Manchurian Incident in September 1931 set foot on the last stage taking the Pacific War on December 8,1941 as an opportunity.DAZAI Osamu wrote several short stories to which the thing and the relation are pointed out intensively in case of this war.Though those works have not attracted much attention in particular in Dazai’s literature studies,once analyzed every corner of texts,one finds obvious difference from the contents read up to now.The characters’way of thinking,behavior and work,and the text’s composition related to the theme should be scrutinized and re-read.In'December 8'and'Matsu(Waiting)',each a narrator of female first person was employed.The narrators seem to make the look for the future of a war.The sentiment which curved DAZAI who was then at the time of the start of Pacific War can be seen by readers through these feminine narations which seems to be written on the base of a strategy of consciously and respectively planned text.
